Mortified mum ‘looking for a new school’ after six-year-old’s brutal honesty

A mum was left in stitches after her daughter told her what she’d been up to that day at school.

Mum Grace was left doubled over in laughter – but also feeling fairly mortified, as it transpired that one of her thongs had accidentally got stuck to her daughter’s velcro shoes.

Not only did she send her daughter to school with her underwear, but the cheeky six-year-old also made sure everyone knew about it.

Her daughter ranted in the car about the awkward incident – which resulted in the pupil telling her headteacher that her mum’s house “was messy.”

The video of the hilarious moment has been watched more than seven million times.

In it, the six-year-old says: “I was going to walk to class and I saw a teacher and she said ‘”There’s something on your shoe honey.’

“And then I stomped all the way to the Principal and said ‘This is my mum’s underwear, her house is messy.’

“And she said ‘You should put it in your pocket,’ and then I got to class I said ‘This is on my shoe this morning,’ and I showed the underwear.

“And then she said to put it in my backpack.”

The mum breaks down laughing while muttering “My God” under my breath.

In the caption of the video, she joked: “Currently looking for a new school for my six-year-old #whyshedomelikethat.”

The hilarious video has attracted more than 20,000 comments and 1.2 million likes.

One viewer had the most important question – was the underwear clean?

The mum replied: “They WERE clean!!! Hahaha thank GOD.”

One parent joked: “‘Uhh this is my moms underwear, our house is messy” lmaoooo.”

Another commented: “Kids are the biggest ball busters. ‘Our house was messy’ – was that necessary information??”

A third joked: “I’m dying she repped it like Show and Tell.”

A fourth reassured the mum: “I promise you the teachers cracked up at that in the best way. You’re a legend.”

One teacher added: “As a third grade teacher I am absolutely lolling.

“Kids tell everything. Don’t worry we don’t hold it against parents.”
